From Prince to Pauper

From Prince to Pauper 1

You were my king, my queen,
My in between.

My sexy, my scarred,
My sacred shard.

My scattered and scathing,
My battered, degrading.

My loud whooshing air,
My innards laid bare.

My mocking temptress,
My teasing torturess.

My puking princess,
My journey to judgelessness.

My one month wait,
My frantic gait.

My evenings and hoping,
My unsatisfied groping.

My darkening, my dim,
My pleasure of you with him.

My drug, my fix,
My mind’s eclipse.

My regal, ruby crown,
My broken, breaking down.

You were my priceless jewel,
I was long your shallow fool.
